Air Guitar contest, NYC

Air guitar: the act of pretending to play guitar with exaggerated strumming motion and loud singing or lip-synching.

On March 2nd 2006, US Air Guitar, the official American air guitar association, held the regional New York air competition at the Knitting Factory club in New York City.

The winner of the contest goes on to the national championship to possibly represent America in the world championship in Finland.
